Peter is married to Joanne and they are expecting their third child in May. Peter and Joanne both worked as school teachers in Sydney before moving to Melbourne to study at Ridley. They were both involved in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Beach Mission and Crusader Union camps.

Peter enjoys playing sport, hiking, playing music, photography, reading and spending time at the beach with his family.

Most of all he is keen to talk to young men about Jesus and see them commit their lives to Him. He is also the Chaplain to the Coburg Tigers VFL Club.

Peter oversees the 6pm Contemporary Service and Bible study groups.

Amanda Lyons - Children's and Families Minister

Amanda first heard about Jesus at school, and cheerfully became a Christian when she was fourteen. At uni, she studied music performance (playing the oboe), but got pretty passionate about working with young people and their families in and through church. Now she works at St Mark’s four days a week, studying the Bible and ministry skills at Ridley Melbourne on the side. Coordinating the ministries for children and families, she works with the Sunday Club, Christian Religious Education, Playgroup, Mustard and other teams, to build up the leaders involved and help families discover God, and his great love and purposes for us.
Amanda loves alternative music, pavlova, watching television, rock climbing, updating her facebook status far too often, chai lattes and anything to do with people.
