Matthew is married with two teenagers at home and another overseas. He and his wife Anne have experienced the delights and challenges of all sizes of Church in all kinds of places, and now enjoy the leadership of St Mark’s in the Boroondara region of Melbourne. His particular interests are preaching, military history and exploring the bush.

Mark Hood

Assistant Minister

Following a short career as a production planner, Mark has recently graduated from Ridley College. As assistant minister, Mark has responsibilities with 9am and 7pm congregations. Mark is married to Pip, and they are blessed to have three kids (Bethany, Leah and Joel). To relax, Mark attempts to continue his farming heritage by growing vegies in the backyard.

Amanda Lyons

Children's and Families Minister Intern

Having been involved in the Sunday Club and Children's Ministry for several years, Amanda is delighted to now work even more with the children at St Mark's. Her role involves co-ordinating the Sunday Ministries for Children, including the Sunday Club and All-Age Services. Amanda is part-time at St Mark's and also works as an oboe teacher, spending her spare time with friends.

Luke Isham

Evening Service Coordinator

Luke is currently enrolled at Ridley College with the aim of eventually being ordained. While studying he is completing an internship at St Mark’s which involves some preaching, service leading and planning the annual Parish Camp. Seeing lives transformed by the gospel encourages and motivates Luke through his work at St Mark’s!  He is married to Amy, who is kindly supporting him in his studies by working full time as a librarian.
