Children

“God loved the people of this world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who has faith in him will have eternal life and never really die. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn its people. He sent him to save them!” (John 3:16-17)

Children are loved by God, and an important part of His family. We want to encourage children to respond to Jesus in faith, and to be fully committed followers of him that grow, give and serve.

We believe that families are the centre of faith development for children, and want to encourage parents in this role.

Some of the ways we connect with children and families are in our 9am service and Sunday Club, teaching CRE at Auburn Primary, community Playgroups and Parenting Seminars. For more information about children and families programs and activities at St Mark's please contact Amanda Lyons at the church office on 9882 3776 or 0400 593 054

Playgroups

Tuesday mornings 9.30-11.30am (term time)

Our program is designed to be a safe and welcoming place for children and their mums. We meet to catch up with each other, to play with our children, share morning tea and a craft and story time. To support parents in the community, St Mark’s also runs parenting seminars in Term 4.

Safety & Care

As a church, we take seriously our responsibilities and position of trust. Procedures and checks, consistent with Diocesan regulations and requirements, have been put in place.
