7pm Contemporary Informal Service
At 7pm, we're eager to grow as disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is because we're so thankful to the Lord Jesus, and his work of saving us: 'For our sakes God made him to be sin, who knew no sin, so that we might become right with God' (2 Cor 5:21)
So we're fired up about Jesus Christ, and hearing God's word, and we're eager to grow more like Christ, as we love one another and serve one another, and have loads of fun together. We love getting together and singing the praises of our great God and saviour. We sing contemporary songs, led by our musicians, who include our Youth band once a month - and they do well!
After church on a Sunday night, we have supper togther, which sometimes involves a trip down the road to a cafe in Camberwell.
Midweek, we get together at someone's home for our small groups, where we read the Bible, ask lots of questions, find ourselves challenged by God's word to grow as disciples, and we pray.
