7pm Contemporary Informal Service
At 7pm, we're on about growing as disciples of Christ.
So our theme verse is John 13:35
"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."
While we don't take ourselves too seriously, we're full on about Jesus Christ, and hearing God's word read and preached clearly. We also love to get together and sing the praises of our great God and saviour. We sing contemporary songs, lead by our great musicians, including our Youth band once a month - and they do well!
After church on a Sunday night, we hang out together for supper, and sometimes we move down to a cafe in Camberwell.
Midweek, we get together at someone's home for our small groups, where we read the Bible, ask lots of questions, find ourselves challenged by God's word to grow as disciples, and we pray.
